Canada First Academy Announces Long-Term Partnership with Inter Toronto FC
Canada First Academy (CFA) is proud to announce a long-term partnership with Inter Toronto, Toronto’s Canadian Premier League (CPL) professional soccer club. This partnership marks an important milestone for CFA and reinforces our commitment to creating meaningful development opportunities for our players and coaches, both on and off the field.
Creating a Pathway to the Next Level
A key part of the partnership is establishing a potential pathway toward higher levels of the game. Starting at U13 and older, CFA will work with Inter Toronto FC to identify and recommend talented players from each age group for opportunities to progress into Inter Toronto’s academy pathway.
CFA will continue to support younger players by building the technical skills, confidence, decision-making, and game understanding needed for long-term development. Through our development programs, we aim to help players reach their potential and prepare them for future opportunities as they progress through the age groups.
Development Opportunities for Players
The partnership will create opportunities for CFA players to gain experience in a professional club environment. Planned initiatives may include friendly matches against Inter Toronto’s pathway teams, player visits, and other activities that allow players to learn from and engage with the club.
These experiences will help players broaden their understanding of the game, experience different development environments, and gain insight into the standards and commitment required to progress to the next level.
Opportunities for CFA Coaches
The partnership will also support the continued development of CFA’s coaching staff. Opportunities may include attending professional coaching clinics, observing Inter Toronto’s first-team training sessions, and participating in question-and-answer sessions with professional coaching staff.
By learning from experienced professionals, CFA coaches can continue to expand their knowledge and bring new ideas and approaches back to their teams, strengthening the development environment for our players.
Building the Future Together
This partnership represents an exciting step forward for Canada First Academy. By working alongside a professional club, CFA aims to expand opportunities for player development, support the growth of our coaches, and help ambitious players explore potential pathways to higher levels of soccer.
We look forward to building a strong relationship with Inter Toronto FC and creating new experiences that benefit our players, coaches, and families for years to come.
Together, we're building the future of football.
