CFA Germany Trip: Munich Experience

Our U13/U14 team had an incredible two-week experience in Munich, Germany, competing against professional academies, building our connection with Bayern, and gaining valuable exposure in front of scouts.

Canada First Academy recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Munich, Germany, for a two-week football development trip. This experience gave our players the chance to train, compete, and be exposed to one of the strongest football environments in the world.

One of the biggest highlights of the trip was our connection with Bayern Munich. Being in Munich and experiencing the football culture around one of the world’s most respected clubs was an unforgettable opportunity for our players. The trip allowed them to see the level of professionalism, detail, and commitment required to play at the highest levels of the game.

Our U13/U14 team represented Canada First Academy extremely well throughout the trip. The players competed in three matches against professional academy teams, giving them a true test against high-level opposition. These games challenged our players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Every match was a valuable learning experience and showed our players what it takes to compete in a professional academy environment.

The trip also provided excellent exposure for our players, with many scouts and coaches in attendance. This gave our athletes the chance to showcase their ability, work ethic, attitude, and potential in front of people connected to the professional football world.

Beyond the matches, the two weeks in Germany were an amazing experience for the players as a team. They had the chance to grow both on and off the field, learn from a different football culture, and understand the standards expected in Europe. Experiences like this help our players build confidence, independence, and a stronger understanding of the game.

At Canada First Academy, our goal is to create real opportunities for serious players who want to push themselves and develop. This Germany trip was a major step in that direction. It gave our U13/U14 players international exposure, high-level competition, and memories that will stay with them for years.

We are extremely proud of how our players represented the academy, their families, and Canadian football. This trip was a great experience, and we look forward to continuing to build connections and opportunities for our players in Canada and abroad.
